As someone who loves tea, I know that there are endless possibilities when it comes to flavors and combinations.

But I'm a basic B... and I must admit: peppermint tea is one of my favorites! Not only does it taste great, but it also has a range of health benefits.

In this article, I'm going to share recipes for three variations of peppermint tea, as well as a few tidbits on what makes it so beneficial. So sit back, relax, and enjoy a cup of delicious homemade peppermint tea... as soon as I tell you how to make it that is! ;)

What Is Peppermint Tea?

Peppermint tea can be made from the dried tea leaves of the mint plant or from its fresh mint leaves.

Homemade mint tea has a refreshing, minty taste, can be enjoyed either hot or cold, and, since it's an herbal tea, is typically caffeine-free... as long as it's not mixed with green tea or some other tea from the Camellia Sinensis plant.

What Are The Benefits Of Peppermint Tea?

There are many benefits associated with peppermint tea. For instance, it can help to relieve indigestion and nausea, and may also help to reduce stress and anxiety levels.

Peppermint tea is also thought to boost immunity and promote healthy skin. To get the most out of peppermint tea, it is best to brew it fresh using high-quality organic peppermint leaves.
